Tomato Seedling Sale in El Camino
This just came to me via one of my clients. If you happen to still need tomato seedlings now is your chance to get them cheap in the Los Angeles area:
Hi All,
We
are having our first open-to-the-public tomato plant sale this Saturday
5/30/2009 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the nursery at El Camino College.
The nursery is located on the west side of the stadium - between the
stadium and the 2-story parking structure.
We
have about 20 varieties of tomatoes in 4” pots and some 1 gallon size
as well. The 4” are $2.00 each and the 1 gallons are $4.00 each. If you
buy three 4” size tomatoes, we’ll give you a FREE 4” “Surprise” tomato.
It’s a surprise ‘cuz we lost the tags!
All funds raised will help support the Horticulture Department at El Camino College.
Cash only please!
Enter from Manhattan Beach Blvd. and follow the signs. I’ve attached a map to assist you. I’ve also attached a flyer of the classes we’ll be offering next Fall.
